MARKO BABAC

professor, film theorist, a legend

Born in Zemun, 9 March 1935. He finished elementary and secondary school in Belgrade where he graduated the School of Medicine in 1962.

One of the founders of the cinema club “Beograd” in which, since 1951, he successfully dealt with amateur film and he was awarded with a large number of honours and awards in country and abroad. In 1962, he was named for the masters of amateur film in Yugoslavia.

AHMED IMAMOVIĆ

Ahmed Imamović, bh. was born in Sarajevo in 1971, graduated film directing at Academy of performing arts in Sarajevo in 2002. During the studies he directed a number of theatre plays and movies, among which the one “Women” stand out, a documentary he directed in 1997. Member of European Film Academy since 2002. During the war time, he was a member of a group of Sarajevo authors SAGA, where he as a cinematographer and director took part in realization of thirty documentary and short feature movies. As a member of this group, he won a number of group awards from European Film Academy (FELIX) and British Academy of Film (BAFTA). His graduating short movie 10 Minutes at Academy of Performing Arts Sarajevo, was awarded by European Film Academy (2002, Best Short Film Award). He is a co-writer of feature movies Gori Vatra and Go West, as well as director and producer of Go West. Ahmed Imamovic’s documentary, short and feature movies have been screened on more then hundred international festivals and awarded at festivals in New York, Thessaloniki, Montpellier, Rome… The movie Go West won in total 38 international prizes.

GORAN RADOVANOVIĆ

Rođen u Beogradu 1957. Diplomirao Istoriju umjetnosti na beogradskom Filozofskom fakultetu 1982. Između 1977. i 1980. boravio u Minhenu u okviru stipendiranja Goethe Instituta. Po povratku u Beograd radio kao filmski kritičar. Od 1984. radio kao scenarista i reditelj dugometražnih igranih i dokumentarnih filmova. 2003. osniva nezavisnu produkcijsku kuću “Nama Film”. Njegovi filmovi su distribuisani širo svijeta i prikazivani unutar takmičarske selekcije mnogih velikih festivala. Dobitnik više od 30 filmskih nagrada. Član je Evropske filmske akademije, u Berlinu i Udruženja filmskih umetnika Srbije.

ZORAN GALIĆ

Zoran Galić is a film producer born in Jajce (BiH) in 1979. He graduated film and TV directing at the Academy of Arts (University of Banja Luka), and studied Arts and Media studies at the University of Belgrade. Since 2004, he heas been directing and producing commertials, music videos and short films. From 2007, he is working mostly as a producer.

In 2003 he founded Association VizArt in Banja Luka with the goal to produce and promote cultural wealth and heritage. Zoran was one of the producers in two award winning features film – “32nd December” and “Motel Nana”.

Jury member Marko Sipka

MARKO ŠIPKA

Born in Tuzla 25.02.1984.godine. Finished elementary and high school in Banja Luka. Graduated film and television directing at the Academy of arts in Banja Luka, in class of professor Predrag Velinović.

With his graduate short film “Vrijeme (Time)” won the best directing award at the International student film festival “DukaFest” in Banja Luka, in November 2010.

With his student and professional works, short fiction and documentaries he participated on festivals in Sarajevo, Mostar, Belgrade, Bruxelles, Torino, Augusta, Cypress, Istanbul…

In 2006 he participated in regional documentary film workshop organized by atelier Varan from Paris and French embassy in Belgrade.

Faruk Lončarević, director from Sarajevo, born in 1975.

Studied at Academy of performing arts in Sarajevo, graduated in 2000 with theatre play Lulu, Frank Wedekind. His first professional play Nightmare about Bosnia, Youth theatre, in 2001 win the “Brave new world” award, at International theatre festival MESS.

Rođen je 1978. u Beogradu. Diplomirao je filmsku i tv režiju na Fakultetu dramskih umetnosti sa dugometražnim dokumentarnim filmom MADE IN SERBIA, koji je premijerno prikazan na FEST-u 2005. godine, a zatim ušao u bioskopsku i DVD distribuciju.

Autor je više kratkih igranih filmova (ŽIVI MRTVACI, GLAD, PENA ZA BRIJANJE) i dokumentaraca ( ALI HAMADOVA PRIČA, PRAVO KROZ VETAR, RATNICI) koji su sa uspehom prikazivani kod nas i u svetu. Njegov poslednji film je dugometražni igrani film -ŽIVOT I SMRT PORNO BANDE (2009., premijera na FEST-u), koji i ove godine nastavlja sa pohodom na strane festivale, praćen odličnim kritikama, a takođe i nagradama.

Saša Hajduković, rođen 22.09.1984. u Banja Luci gdje završava osnovnu školu i gimnaziju. Nakon završene srednje škole upisuje Akademiju umjetnosti, smjer za TV i filmsku režiju u klasi profesora Predraga Velinovića. Diplomirao 2009 sa dugometražnim filmom 32. DECEMBAR.

2010. godine je dobio nagradu za najbolju režiju (32. Decembar) na Cinema City festivalu u Novom Sadu, Srbija. Sa istim filmom je obišao brojne festivale uključujući FEST, Sarajevo Film Festival, Cinema City, Motovun Film Festival, Raindance London, Hamburg Film Fest itd.

Rođen 01.01.1971 u Bijeljini, Bosna i Hercegovina

Radi kao vanredni profesor na predmetu Scenario na Akademiji scenskih umjetnosti u Sarajevu na odsjeku režije. Trenutno je šef odsjeka za režiju.

1989 – upisao Akademiju scenskih umjetnosti u Sarajevu gdje je režirao četiri predstave, kao i velik broj kratkih, studentskih filmova
