We awarded a special recognition for lifetime achievement to our icon of Serbian cinema, a film theorist, film professor, quite simply a living legend Marko Babac who founded our Academy of Art, Department of Film and Television Directing, and who was a lecturer at the same and then was unjustly neglected. This is a man from whose textbooks we educate, whose examples and actions we follow and look up to and that’s why it was a great honor to welcome Professor and show what mean for us his character, work and opus.
We are very pleased by the way the festival has passed, and the impressions of jury and guests are excellent and we finally reached a level of which we are very proud.
