DukaFest 2009

This year’s “DukaFest” is organized as a true several days long student film festival. It takes place in old multiplex “Kozara” between 13th and 15th of November 2009. This year we are organizing it under the “KROV”, a non-profit non-governmental organization for stimulus and development of culture. The members of “KROV” are mainly students of Academy of Arts in Banja Luka, as are other young artists from out town. We would like to give our thanks to Academy of Arts and Student Parliament of Banja Luka for their contribution to the festival.

A number of 43 movies will be screened during the festival, separated into competition fiction and documentaries, and review program. The review program is consisted of anthology of Academy of Arts Banja Luka student films, review of European Summer Film School that took place this year in Belgrade and the films of many young authors across the Europe.

We will award two of the authors, for the best fiction movie and for the best documentary. The members of the jury are:

Predrag Solomun (professor AABL)

Drago Vejnović (professor AABL)

Goran Trubajić (representative of Radio-television of Republic of Srpska, general media sponsor)

The opening of the festival is on the 13th of November at 8 pm.
